Magnificent Black Lacquered Antique Chinoiserie Bergere Suite

This very decorative early 1900's black lacquered three piece bergere suite, comprising a sofa and pair of armchairs, is beautifully shaped with generous proportions.  Each piece is ornately embellished with Chinoiserie decoration depicting figures and landscapes throughout.  We have simply conserved this decoration, leaving it in charming country house condition.  The beech frames have been re-caned and reupholstered throughout with beautiful 19th century cream coloured linen.  

This incredibly comfortable suite would make a wonderful statement in any setting.
