A 1930's Faux Tortoiseshell Italian Coffee Table with Glass Top

This unusual coffee table was once housed in the Gucci head office and you can see why.  The wonderful urn shape is decorated with hand painted faux tortoiseshell.  This has gilded metal bands and arms which splay out to support the glass top.

Circa: 1930

Dimensions: 110cm l x 77.5cm w x 49cm h (base size without glass 97.5cm x 53cm)
