Buying Antique & Vintage

We commend you for buying beautiful antique & vintage pieces. We hope you understand that part of their charm is that they have lived a little (in some cases a lot), and although every effort is made to select items in the best possible condition it cannot be expected that they will be in perfect or brand new condition. In our opinion a certain vintage imperfection only adds to their beauty and uniqueness.

 

Delivery

SHIPPING IN THE UK IS FREE OF CHARGE*  

*Mainland only. If you live in the far reaches of Scotland or on a tiny island off Guernsey or anything particularly difficult to get to I hope you will understand that we may need to charge extra. Please contact us.

For outside the UK please contact us for a quote. Shipping will be charged separately. Please contact us with your full delivery address and phone number to receive a delivery quote. Once payment has been received we will arrange the delivery and contact you to inform you of the delivery date. All items will be shipped with a tracked an insured courier service unless otherwise stated.

Alternatively you are welcome to arrange collection of your item from our studio.

The exception to this is for the Charlotte Casadéjus Antique lines and cushions range, shipping for these items will be calculated and added at the checkout.

Payment for products and delivery services is to be made in pounds sterling (£).
Please help our delivery company and us by taking extra care with your address details.
You'll be responsible for the payment of any local import duties on receipt of your parcel.
 

Damaged Deliveries

We do our best to ensure that our products are wrapped sufficiently to survive the journey to you but we do have to rely on third party companies to deliver your goods and breakages unfortunately can happen from time to time.

If you receive a damaged item from us, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please contact us immediately to inform us quoting your order number and ideally with a photo of the damage. We will organise a collection and ship a replacement out to you subject to stock availability.

 

Refunds and Exchanges

Online Returns

Non Furniture Items
We hope you are happy with your purchase. If not you can return the item to us within 14 days of receipt as long as it is unused and in its original packaging.
We are able to exchange the item or issue a refund to the card or PayPal account used to purchase your goods. This usually takes up to 14 days from receipt. Being a small company we are unfortunately not able to refund postage charges.

Parcels are returned at your own cost, and we strongly recommend you return items with a tracked and insured service and obtain a free certificate of postage from the Post Office as we are responsible for your parcel only once it has been received into our warehouse. Items lost in transit will not be treated as returned.

Furniture returns
Furniture viewed and purchased in person at our studio or at a fair is non returnable unless otherwise agreed with the seller.

For furniture purchased from our online store, please call us within 7 days of delivery to discuss the return of furniture as we cannot accept the return of items that have been used or damaged since we delivered them. The item will need to be re-wrapped in the original packaging and we will need to make arrangements with you to collect it. There will be a charge for collection, unless the item is faulty.
Please ensure you thoroughly check your items for any damage at the point of delivery. Once goods are accepted from the courier signed or not signed for no responsibility can be taken by Streett Marburg for any loss or damage whatsoever.
