An Exquisite 19th C Japanese Embroidered & Framed Panel

A wonderful Japanese Edo period textile standing at over 2 metres tall.  Delicately embroidered with silk and gold thread on finest ramie fabric as well as hand printing, depicting a variety of birds, flowers and foliage.  This would have originally been made for a Kimono but was probably never made into one, later created into a beautiful panel.

Dimensions: 215cm h x 96cm w

Condition: Very good antique condition in keeping with age.  Some small marks here and there.
