An Unusual Antique French Folk Art Ceramic Bird Sculpture

In the late 19th century it was very much in vogue in France to create Art Populaire, that is to say, folk art or crafting.  This is a good example of it.  This sweet pair of birds has been created from antique Chinese blue and white porcelain and cement to make a charming and unique sculpture.
