A Pair of 18th Century Italian 'Petite Commodes' or Bedside Tables

A pair or 18th century 'petite commodes', the serpentine tops centred by a paterae within a king wood ground, banded in tulipwood and a stained green holly line.  Each edge crossed banded and above two drawers similarly decorated as the tops and raised on slender cabriole legs with serpentine apron.  Ideal bedside tables or side tables.

Circa: 1790

Origin: South German or North Italian

Dimensions: 79.5cm h x 55.5cm w x 35cm d

Condition: Excellent antique condition in keeping with age
