A Nautical Pencil Study by André Petroff in a Giltwood Frame

A charming framed pencil study of a boat by André Petroff (1894-1975), a Russian artist known for his abstract nautical, townscape and still-life painting.  He lived and worked in the French Riviera for many years where he developed his passion for the sea.  Petroff was the subject of several solo exhibitions throughout the 20th century.

We have acquired three sketches by Petroff, each one listed on our website.
