An Exceptionally Large Antique Monochrome Chinese Hand Embroidery in Black Frame

This extremely large piece of Chinese embroidery is stitched in silk.  The subject is two birds in a traditional setting of a leafy tree with butterflies fluttering about in the distance.  Apart from the scale, what really sets this piece apart is the monochrome pallet of soft greys and blacks on a silk linen mix background.  

Newly framed.

Dimensions: 184cm h x 160cm w x 3cm d

Condition: Excellent antique condition.  Some minor marks here and there.
