A 1920's Pierre Lottier Scarlet Chinoiserie Mirror
This wonderful, large red chinoiserie mirror was designed by French Designer, Pierre Lottier - who lived in Barcelona in the 1920's. Interestingly he has used the 15th century 'sgraffito' technique here to great effect. This mirror is heavily inspired by Giles Grendey (1693-1870), who coincidentally, in the 18th century, worked on a famous commission for the Duke of Infantado, Lazcarno in Northern Spain. This mirror stands at approximately 6 feet in height, pictured here next to Streett who is the same height.
