A Late 19th C Japanese Two Part Tansu Chest
This handsome Tansu chest is tremendously versatile. It can be divided into two parts and used as two low chests or attached one on top of the other to create a tall chest. This piece smells delicious as it is made of Camphor wood. The handles and fixtures are lacquered.
