A Napoleon III Shell Covered Jewellery Box

There are plenty of shells around at the moment but not so many genuine antique ones.  This beautiful jewellery box is entirely covered with shells.  We particularly love the top which is really quite heavy where quite substantial shells have been used.  The inside has a mirror in the lid and is covered in green paper.  Lovingly conserved by Charlotte

Dimensions: 30cm H x 29cm L x 18cm W

Condition: Very good vintage condition.  The lid is heavy so is best lent against a wall or similar if you wish to leave it open.
