A Pair of 18th C Italian Dante Throne Chairs in the Renaissance Style

A substantial pair of very good late 18th century carved walnut Dante Throne Chairs.  Large, hand carved Putti heads on each one also reflected in the three sizes of brass Putti embellishments to each chair.  Of note are the exquisitely carved Caryatid finials, the excellent colour and condition. By repute from a very good English home.  Newly upholstered with antique linen.

Condition: In excellent condition.  One chair is a marginally smaller than the other, this is the beauty of artisan made furniture.
