A Rare Pair of 1920's French Armoires with Coromandel Doors in the Japan Taste

This exceptional pair of walnut and ash wardrobes is ornately decorated on the fronts with painted coromandel depicting scenes from the Japanese court.  The sides are decorative burr ash.  The doors are mirrored on the inside.  One armoire has fittings for hanging and the other has lovely glass fronted drawers as well as hanging rail and shoe rail.  It is clear that these are of superb quality and craftsmanship. Additionally, each one breaks down fully and easily for transport and storage.
