An 18th C Italian Framed Crewelwork Embroidered Panel with Crown & Monogram
A remarkable crewelwork embroidered panel on silk, possibly originally created for the church but later adapted for a Palazzo in Sicily belonging to the Biscari family. The two crowned monograms making this piece especially rare. Recently framed. Perfect above a bed or mantel.
