An Antique French Linen Sheet with Crown Embroidery

One of two French linen dowry sheets we purchased on our recent buying trip, this one with a hand embroidered crown as well as many lines of drawn threadwork along the topmost part.Simple and rare, crowns are the most sought after embroideries as they were created for French nobility.
