An early 18th Century Italian Pair of Carved Silver Gilt Console Tables
A rare and exciting find from our recent trip to Italy:- a pair of Italian early 18th century silver gilt freestanding console tables in the Baroque style. The delicate and ornate carved frame of shells, a central angelic face within scrolls and leaves. The faux marble tops are original though repainted at some time. Additionally the lower back stretchers on each table were added later for stability and support.
Dimensions: 129cm w x 52cm d x 82cm h
Condition: Very good in keeping with age.
