An exceptionally large antique burr elm bowl carved from one piece of wood
This impressively sized bowl measuring 76cm in diametre is carved out of one piece of wood using the axing method implying a very early date. Whilst impossible to be 100% sure, in our opinion this piece dates from the 18th Century or possibly earlier. The colour of this magnificent bowl is a warm, nut brown.
This would look amazing filled with pomegranates on a big rustic table.
