Large Antique Chinese Ivory Floral Hand Embroidered Silk Framed Panel

This magnificent piece of silk on silk hand embroidery is special for a number of reasons.  Firstly it's large proportions, but also for the vivid colours and incredible condition.  We believe this piece has never been used.

The flowers on it are of particularly interest, they are called Silktree Albizzaie (or He Huan Hua) meaning the 'flower of love' - this flower was widely used in ancient Chinese literature.

Newly framed with perspex.
