This set of 10 18th century French dining chairs are made from walnut, nine of them have been covered with striking 18th century English crewelwork (the 10th, not pictured here, is covered in plain linen).  The crewelwork is wonderfully colourful, depicting squirrels, parrots, other birds, flowers and fauna.  Each chair covering is unique.  

Circa: 1760

Origin: France/England

Condition: Very good antique condition - crewelwork condition in keeping with age, the chairs have minor old repairs here and there.
